Government Mobile Application Contest
Atlanta, GA, June 29, 2012 — The Technology Association of Georgia’s (TAG) Government Technology Society has announced that it is sponsoring a Government Mobile Apps Contest and will be accepting contest entries from July 1, 2012—September 10, 2012.
The contest is open to any individual or team interested in developing a mobile application for government which facilitates citizen interaction with any level of government and/or promotes access to government services. Apps for local, state, and federal entities are eligible for entry.
Winning apps will be chosen in four categories: Best Overall, Most Innovative, Most Valuable, and Top Performer. Application demonstrations will be performed, winners will be announced, and awards will be presented at the TAG Government Technology Society Mobile Government Conference on September 18, 2012.
Entry Fee: $30 for TAG members and government employees, $50 for non-TAG members, and $0 for students.
