Social CRM provider, Gist Inc., recently completed a sales practices survey of 500+ professionals who use Gist. The Enterprise 2.0 meeting for April will be a presentation and group discussion of some of the key findings of that study focused on the practices and attitudes surrounding the use of social media in the sales process. The discussion will review the tools and techniques currently being used by the successful sales professional in the next generation enterprise.
A Common ThemeTo add a common theme to our sessions this year, the TAG Enterprise 2.0 Board is asking all of our speakers to consider the following questions in crafting their presentations:
1. How did their adoption of 2.0 technologies impact their organization's culture?2. What were the common barriers to adoption and how did they overcome those barriers?3. How did the tools impact the bottom line?4. What are some key items learned from their experience?
Speaker - Robert Pease
Robert Pease serves as Vice President of Marketing for Seattle-based Gist, Inc.
His past experience includes senior marketing and business development positions at MessageGate, Orchestria, and nuBridges as well as advisory roles with a variety of technology companies focusing on go-to-market strategies and tactics. He has extensive experience with launching new products and building sales processes and infrastructure.
He also spent time working as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting (now part of Bearingpoint, Inc.) advising communications and technology companies on operational and strategic initiatives.
