To upgrade or not to upgrade…that is the question….
Whether it is better to keep an existing company portal without the latest features and functionality or suffer weeks of enterprise-wide chaos through an upgrade may not have been the point of Hamlet’s soliloquy, but upgrading a corporate portal can be just as dramatic as avenging your father’s murder. Well….maybe not, but the questions that arise when contemplating an upgrade are challenging and numerous. Can you migrate all the portal customizations? How long will the upgrade process take? Once the portal is migrated, will I still be able to access all of my content?
