On Thursday(May 26th), Google announced one of their newest product ideas. The product is called Google Wallet and it is a smartphone application that allows you to pay for items with your phone, instead of carrying a card around with you everywhere you go. The Atlanta based payment processing company, First Data, is one of the main companies involved in this new application along with Google, MasterCard, Citibank, and Sprint. Currently, the application will only be provided for Google's Nexus S 4G smartphone through the Sprint network, but it is said to expand very quickly.
