Advocacy for a new paradigm in search engine

Actually search engine industry just follow biological evolution in a kind of pray/predator story.

Where predator are the search engines and prays are the best sites matching users queries.

Obviously if we use last 2010 search engines techologies on 15 years before internet when the number of web sites were infinitly less numerous any user's query would have reached THE good answer.

On the other hand if we are using 1995 search engine to find something on the todays web we will quickly give up.

Just remenber how it was 15 years ago, solutions for our queries were not marvelous but they were not really poor, may be just as it is nowdays.

All this to say that search engine technology may run after something that is evolving at the same speed. In the same way as predators invent new solution to catch more prays, and prays deploy more energy to find efficient work around in order to stay alive longer.

What could be a new paradigm in search industry?

A FOCUS ON PEOPLE ! A focus on what's in web authors mind, instead of small snapshots of them.

Smart people are used to provide smart solution even if they cross borders of their preferred scope.

When you find a valuable writting on the internet, you may obtain value in other subjects from the same author.

Compared to the number of web site (infinite) the number of author is finite. Even if everybody have 3 different identities (one public, one restricted, one private) with 7bn human on the earth we have 21bn searchable identities.
